The symphony of family pictures
Brought a smile of wryness,
But memories of arguments
Spouted blazing wrath like spicy food
He loathed being the underdog in their discussions
Just as he hated being the office clerk
He could not accept two bosses
For only one would pay
But as his eyes traced the ink on the letter again
The warm memories absorbed the haze
Just like the paper soaked the feelings that flowed
Winter gave way to spring within
He sobbed with each nod
Responding to the mute plea
“Can we change our egos
And make untie into unite?”
I’ve been in a phase of trying a number of new things. Or is that just life?

And with you, Michael! May we all borrow each other’s snow blizzards bit by bit and change our seasons within 🙂
